The City of Fairfax has a thriving Arts community, supported and promoted in part by the Commission on the Arts. The Commission supports the Arts by awarding grants to qualifying groups and ensembles, presenting a free performance series in Old Town Fairfax, and providing general promotional support for local Arts groups.
